She was drawn to the increased strength, the overall sense of well-being, and the remarkable improvement Pilates made to her dance technique. She began her movement career as a professional dancer and teacher at an early age and decided to pursue a BFA in Dance at Radford University, under the guidance of Inessa Plekhanova. After completing her degree, she went on to dance professionally and pursue choreography in Denver, CO. She transitioned to NYC in 2008 to continue along this path. She received her Pilates certification from Ellie Herman, and worked for Ellie Herman Pilates for 10 years and became a Master Pilates Instructor.
